Medium Dartmoor sphere

This pot is made entirely from Dartmoor materials. The dark body is made using a secondary kaolin that derives from the granite. It is heavily incised and coated with a white slip made from local china clay. The glazes are made using the granite, quartz, clays and a local limestone. It has been wood fired.
