This pots is one of those that I make entirely from rocks and clays that I have collected from various locations around the country. The clay body is clay from Dartmoor, which has been covered in a slip made from Cumbrian volcanic ash. The glazes are made entirely from ground and blended Lake District rocks including Shap granite. It has been fired on its side on a setter, in my wood kiln and one of the scars repaired with bronze. This pot comes with a digital file of images and geological information about all the ingredients in its makeup, which will be sent to the buyer upon purchase.
